   In my home, we do participate in recycling. Years ago I had urged my mom to start recycling. We have always had a recyling bin, but it was holding yard tools and such. To make this happen it was to be my resposibility to take out the recyling bin and collect everything in the house that was to go in there. Since I wanted to do it so badly, I did. This Friday is recyling day for me. If you got the time – RECYCLE!!!

Whenever Christmas comes around, so does the family. My family gets our Christmas tree the day after Thanksgiving (another special holiday) for certain reasons. 1) We want the Christmas feeling to last as long as we can. 2) We have a special guy we buy our tree from, and don’t want the good trees taken. 3) So we can get our decorating done early. When you decorate your home, you usually do it with family. Sometimes decorating  will take a whole day to accomplish. Then during the season you go shopping for presents to give to your sisters, brothers, mom, dad, aunt, uncle, cousins, friends, etc. This is another way family comes together. The big title during Christmas is presents, and you buy them for people you know. And on Christmas Day morning, everyone gathers to open them. The biggest Christmas title = Family.

 

   One celebration I would like to visit would be the snow festival in Sapporo in Japan. This paritcular celebration interested me for one main reason (obvious reason) – for the snow. I have never seen snow before besides in movies and pictures. On the other hand I’ve seen fluries of snow but nothing big. They say that for seven days in February, snow statues and makes the feeling of winter all the estatic with beauty.

This site is our classroom page that tells us everything we need to do. It informs us weekly. The second site is taylorm140. The creator is a good friend of mine. She is creative, just by looking on her site at all her post and widgets; the header as well. Third and finally, pearlh140. Another good friend. Or at least it seems that way from where I’m standing. Everyone is real troublesome right now in America. Gas prices are going down, but we don’t know if they’ll stay that way. I know that most people are striving for gas that they can put in their car, so they could drive home from work every day for the next year. Florida has gas that can be drilled from all 3 sides of the state, yet the environmentalists say it will cause a problem in the environment and won’t let the government through. With the President Elections coming up, and the #1 topic the being the problems with the banks. Meaning the economy right now is low, low, low. All products and goods we buy daily have gone up double the amount that they were and have shrank in size. Us kids and teens don’t exactly know what are parents are going through. The loss of money, the increasing word coming from a stressed bosses mouth, “Fired!”. America is not the only place where poverty is lurking, there are many more that are in the same posistion.

I live where the sun beats down on my face and the hot heat makes me dehydrated.

     South Florida is a great place to go to the beach. I once went on an afternoon trip to see the sunset at Naples (city in S. FL.). Naples is my #1 favorite beach to go to in Florida. I do not only love the beach, but the theme parks too are major attractions. Orlando, Florida is where Disney, Universal Studios, Sea World, and many more theme parks come to life. Disney and Universal Studios are parks that movies made by the creators become live shows and rides. Sea World is where you can see all Sea Life animals like the famous “Shamu” the whale, and other rides. All these places make Florida a state to visit in the summer ( our schools 2 month break).

     School. Here, our Middle School we have 6th graders, 7th graders, and 8th graders. The subjects we learn are:

  • Science
  • US History (World History, Geography)
  • Math (Pre-Algebra, Geometry…)
  • Reading
  • Language Arts

      My school is not very large in size, most other schools are three times bigger than ours. Even so, this school teaches us the right things to do.

I couldn’t decide if I wanted to do it on Meez, or some where else. My first avatar was on Meez, but I had some trouble with the character itself. So, soon after I picked Voki. My voki now is a cat, with a beach background. In Florida, the beach is similar to that background, so it represents where I am from. The cat almost looks wild, and I like wild cats. I choose this cat for that particular reason. The green eyes represent my irises color. My eyes aren’t the same color, but I wish they were more green than blue. Thank-you for reading!!!

      I choose my theme (Glossy Blue) for my blog, sure I had a lot to choose from.  Beforehand, I was stuck between Blix and Glossy Blue. They were both great themes; I started using Blix first. It was OK but then I switched to Glossy Blue and it started working for me right away. (I can’t have a picture in my header. Its my only disadvantage.) This certain theme just stood out from all the others in the end. For one, it does have two of my favorite colors (Blue & Green) and looks fairly organized. I’m known to be organized (99% of the time) so it fit in with my personality. This is my fist time with blogs, so I hope I’m starting off right.

       My Tagline. Well, I wanted something in my header that says something about me. So I decided to put something miscellaneous that popped into my head. Why not LAUGH?  If anyone were to really know me, its that I literally smile (laugh) at almost anything.
